The facade is washed, repaired and painted by rope access. No scaffolding goes up, the pavement stays open and nobody has to leave home. A four- or five-storey block is finished in days, not weeks.
Site visit and quote with no obligation. We reply within 24 working hours.
Paint is the first barrier between the rain and the structure. Once it fails, the problem is no longer the appearance — it is the facade.
We assess the condition of the substrate, identify anchor points and photograph the facade as it stands. The fixed quote comes out of this.
Controlled-pressure washing, removal of loose paint, crack treatment and a skim coat. Skip this stage and the new paint lasts half as long.
Adhesion primer across the whole area, plus protection for window frames, railings and the walkway at ground level.
Two coats applied in vertical bays, working from the top down. Final walk-round with the client and handover of the photographic report.

The gable wall had run-off staining halfway down it and the main facade was cracked throughout. It was washed, repaired, skimmed and painted with no scaffolding and without cutting off access to the centre, which stayed open every day.

Painting from ropes is only worth doing under the conditions the law sets out. The system is always twin-rope, on independent anchor points, and the area below the works is cordoned off before any technician descends.
We give a preliminary figure from photographs, and a fixed quote itemised by work package after a site visit — always free of charge.
For when the facade only needs washing, not painting.
See service →Run-off usually starts at the junction detail, not on the wall.
See service →Moss and lichen hold water even above fresh paint.
See service →A four- or five-storey building typically takes 5 to 10 working days, depending on the condition of the substrate and the area to be treated. With scaffolding the same job runs to 4 to 8 weeks, because putting it up and taking it down costs more than the painting itself. The exact timescale is set out in the quote.
No. All the work is done from outside. We only ask that, on the days given in the notice, they bring in washing lines and keep the windows closed on the elevation being worked on.
On most projects no, because we put no structure on the pavement. We cordon off a safety zone at ground level during working hours and clear it at the end of the day, which avoids the council licence and the wait that comes with it.
Facade paint with UV protection and resistance to rainwater, chosen to suit the substrate: render, fair-faced concrete or existing paint. The product and the number of coats are named in the quote and in the final report.
That is dealt with before painting, and it is included. Cracks are opened up and sealed, loose paint is removed and degraded areas are given a skim coat. Painting over a substrate that is coming away is money lost inside two years.
No. Application needs dry weather and a temperature above 5 °C, and the facade has to be dry after washing. In Portugal the usable window typically runs from March to October; outside it, we plan the work for the first spell of settled weather.
Yes, on the application. The period is stated in the quote and follows the guarantee on the product applied. The final photographic report serves as a record of the condition the work was handed over in.
Three or four photographs are enough for us to give a preliminary figure, before the site visit.
